The famous American industrial designer and seventies icon Milo Baughman is a truly innovative artist. After studying design in Los Angeles, he worked as a custom furniture designer before starting his own brand. Throughout his life, Baughman was a design and engineering powerhouse, influencing the techniques used to manufacture modern homes. While the designer has now passed away, his collaborator, Thayer Coggin, keeps his work and the spirit of the originals alive.


Inspiration for a generation of designers

Known for his chaise longues, sofas and tables, he wasn’t afraid to create furniture that could be easily integrated into our daily lives. While his style was resolutely modern, Baughman didn’t make any compromises on the timeless standards of the classic era. A pioneer of modern design, the famously talented Baughman created many highly distinctive avant-garde collector’s items.
