Founded in 1643 by Claude Trudon, Cire Trudon is notable as the oldest wax-producing factory worldwide. It was started when Mr. Trudon arrived in Paris in 1643 and set up shop on Rue Saint-Honoré. Mr. Marchand is a wax maker by profession; he opened his first factory making wax candles for domestic lighting and designer candles for parishes./p>
By always refining the quality of their products, the Trudon family has been able to ensure the company’s talents and sustainability from generation to generation. The factory uses beeswax to create exclusive and elegant candles. Such a level of quality has meant that the company has continued operating uninterrupted for centuries, due in part to the production of traditional and scented candles.
